In a rural area such as the Teme Valley, parents are often required to travel long distances to access facilities for children. To provide something on the doorstep and ensure regular contact with parents even in the most rural areas, the TVCC visits each local toddler group on a monthly basis to provide structured craft activities. Staff take this opportunity to chat and update parents on new initiatives. Events are also arranged during the school holidays to keep the youngsters occupied.
