This has been a key concern for us in our first year. To start with we asked our Trustees, most of whom have young children. We then followed this up with a questionnaire that was distributed to parents throughout the area.
At this stage many asked for First Aid Courses, Music, Baby Massage Classes and some kind of local physical exercise class for their children.
We have held two hospitality evenings where, over a glass of local apple juice or wine we ‘grilled’ representatives from all the local toddler groups, pre-schools and childminders.
We now have an extensive list of ‘needs’ and ‘challenges’ which we are beginning to address.
